 Michelle Silacci, P.A.-C
Board-Certified Physician Assistant
Michelle, a board-certified Physician Assistant, has been with The Orthopedic Group since 2009. She grew up locally, attending Bernards High School, and then attended Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Natural Science and Spanish. She also studied at Fairleigh Dickinson University for her Masters degree in Biology. She received her Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Piscataway.
Michelle is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the New Jersey State Society of Physician Assistants, and Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery. She has been a volunteer EMT for the Peapack-Gladstone rescue squad for the past 5 years, providing pre-hospital and triage care for people in the community who require assistance.
Michelle has been an avid athlete since a young age and continues to enjoy playing sports. Her interest in orthopedics came from her love of playing soccer and interest in sports injuries and their prognoses. She enjoys being a PA because she can be an autonomous clinician, while being in a partnership with a team of physicians with whom she can collaborate.
Michelle assists in surgical cases in the operating room with all of the physicians, as well as sees patients throughout their stay in the hospital. She enjoys providing care and spending time with patients, educating them about their treatment and plan to return to daily and recreational activities.
